Q: Where did you get the idea for TimeZup!
A: From trying to get my 3 year old to leave the library. They have a Thomas-and-Friends train table there that caused wailing and gnashing of teeth on a bordeline biblical scale.
Q: What are the Top 4 tips for using TimeZup?
A: 1) Involve your little person in choosing which voice to use so they feel more "ownership" in the process.
2) When the timer goes off, don't turn it off until you see movement in the right direction. In other words, make sure your charge has dropped the blocks, or started walking towards their coat, whatever as long it is something that shows they have made the transition mentally.
3) Move TimeZup! to the first page on your iPhone and use it regularly. Toddlers crave routine and if you use it regularly they will start asking YOU to turn it on.
4) Be careful if you let them hold the phone - they might figure out they can turn it off and stay at the park all day.
